The Terms and Conditions of Purchase Agreement is established between the individual purchasing the puppy (hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser) and Central Park Puppies, based in Suffolk County, New York.
The Parties are entering into this Agreement for the purpose of purchasing the puppy identified by both Parties (referred to as the “puppy” throughout this Agreement).
The puppy shall be sold in its current condition and, unless specified otherwise in this Agreement or the Health Guarantee (which is part of this Agreement), Central Park Puppies does not provide any guarantees, promises, agreements, or warranties regarding the puppy’s personality, appearance, size, weight, color, or markings. This includes, but is not limited to, any such guarantees, promises, agreements, or warranties.
All transactions on centralparkpuppies.com and affiliated sites are subject to manual review and approval by Central Park Puppies.
FOR REASONS WHEREOF, the following terms and conditions shall apply to the purchase of a puppy from Central Park Puppies as follows:
For the purposes of this Agreement and Central Park Puppies’ Health Guarantee, the value of the puppy is limited to the purchase price. This excludes any store credit applied, taxes, shipping costs, health certificate fees, veterinary expenses, shipping crate expenses, or any other costs or expenditures incurred or claimed by the Purchaser related to the puppy.
All puppies are sold as pets, and the Purchaser agrees not to breed the puppy. The Purchaser shall also agree to have the puppy neutered or spayed at an appropriate age as advised by their veterinarian.
The Purchaser is also committed to providing the puppy with proper care, including but not limited to the following:
Only registered puppies are eligible to receive registration papers, which may be delivered with your puppy or may take up to six months to receive.
All expenses related to acquiring new or renewed registration papers are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. In the case of lost papers, Central Park Puppies will assist the purchaser in obtaining new ones, at the purchaser’s expense.
Central Park Puppies makes every attempt to keep the information provided on its website, centralparkpuppies.com, accurate and current regarding the puppies sold through its network.
This information includes the breed, date of birth, color, gender, weight, parents’ weight, and registration details. The website may contain typographical and photographic inaccuracies for which Central Park Puppies cannot be held responsible, as the data is provided by its network of breeders.
All puppies are sold for the purpose of companionship and are not intended for breeding, shows, or competitions. Central Park Puppies denies any responsibility regarding the appearance, behavior, character, size, weight, color, compliance with breed standards, or DNA test results of any puppy. Central Park Puppies does not guarantee the precision or comprehensiveness of tests.
Additionally, although every puppy from Central Park Puppies undergoes a thorough examination from head to tail as part of obtaining its Health Certificate, it is still possible for a puppy to travel while having some common conditions.
Some of these conditions, listed in the table below, are considered normal for the breed or are covered under our Health Guarantee in case they persist upon arrival to the purchaser.
| Bite Issues | Coccidia | Spayed | Ticks |
| Ear Debris | Giardia | Neutered | Fleas |
| Ear Discharge | Normal for breed underbite | Hernia/Hernia Repair | Hookworms |
| Ear Mite | Stenotic Nares/Stenotic Nares Repaired | Tail Docked | Tapeworms |
| Ear Cropping | Dew Claw Removed | Whipworm | |
| Undescended Testicles | Open fontanel under 1cm |
If the purchaser cancels within 72 hours of booking, they will receive a refund minus a $599 cancellation fee, along with any applicable charges and taxes, which will be returned to their original method of payment. Cancellations made after 72 hours of booking are nonrefundable, and the full price will be charged. Flight bookings are non-refundable. We book only confirmed flights (never standby); therefore, flight and nanny fees are not refundable.
The purchaser understands that the cancellation fee is justified because the breeder and company face unpredictable losses, especially since puppies lose monetary value and become harder to rehome over time. The agreement remains in effect, and the buyer will not be eligible for a refund if they fail to fulfill their responsibilities, such as making timely payments, maintaining communication, or being available for delivery.
Central Park Puppies does not entertain any returns of the puppy that are intended to receive a monetary refund. This holds true regardless of the reason, which may include, but is not limited to, allergies, restrictions from landlords or tenants, marital difficulties, difficulties in adjusting to the puppy, or any other reasons.
It’s essential to understand that puppies need time to acclimate to their new environment. If you’re experiencing any issues with your puppy, please get in touch with us at Central Park Puppies so we can assist you in determining if the discomfort is just a normal part of the adjustment period or a more significant concern.
Should the purchaser be unable to provide adequate care for the puppy at any point in its life, they agree to promptly reach out to Central Park Puppies to discuss options for rehoming the puppy.
If a return of the puppy is necessary for any reason, it will be done without a refund or credit, and the purchaser will be responsible for covering all travel expenses. In the event of a surrender, Central Park Puppies will make a reasonable effort to find a new home for the puppy through its rehoming process.
Each breed of dog has its distinct physical and temperamental traits. It is crucial that the Purchaser familiarizes themselves with these traits. The American Kennel Club provides a comprehensive directory of all recognized breeds, which can be found at https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/. We strongly suggest that the Purchaser visit this site for information about the breed of puppy they are adopting.
Central Park Puppies does not guarantee the absence of health issues or surrenders for breeds belonging to the Brachycephalic breed group, where certain conditions that are normal for the breed may be present.
Brachycephalic breeds are dogs with flat faces and short, rounded heads, resulting from shortened skull bones. To prevent heatstroke, it is recommended that these breeds be walked during cooler times and using a harness.
These breeds are not suited for outdoor living and may require stenotic nares surgery to open nasal passages. Any mixed breed puppy that includes a brachycephalic breed will also be considered as brachycephalic under this agreement as follows:
| Affenpinscher | Cane Corso | Lhasa APSO |
| American Bulldog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Mastiff |
| American Staffordshire | Chihuahua (apple head) | Neapolitan Mastiff |
| Boston Terrier | Shar-Pei (heavily wrinkled) | Newfoundland |
| Boxer | ChowChow | Pug |
| Brussels Griffon | Dogo Argentino | Shih Tzu |
| Bull Mastiff | French Bulldog | Yorkshire Terrier |
| Bulldog | Japanese Chin | Pekingese |
In addition to all these care guidelines, it should be noted that puppies considered brachycephalic may also be refused Pet Safe Commercial Air travel and face other travel restrictions on commercial airlines.
An underbite refers to a condition where a dog’s lower jaw extends further than its upper jaw, creating a gap between the teeth. This is a hereditary condition, but it is also a characteristic of some dog breeds as part of their breed standard. This includes both purebreds and any designer breeds created by breeding these breeds.
| Lhasa Apso | Boxer |
| Pekingese | Brussels Griffon |
| Pug | Bulldog |
| Puggle | French Bulldog |
| Boston Terrier | Shih Tzu |
| English Bulldog |
Open fontanelles, or soft spots in the skull, are normal in young puppies, particularly in small breeds. These gaps between the skull’s growth plates usually close or harden by 9-12 weeks. However, in some breeds, it is considered acceptable for fontanelles to remain open beyond this age. These open fontanelles typically do not cause any problems for the affected dog, and although there is a theoretical risk of increased susceptibility to brain injury in the event of a head injury, this is rare, and dogs with persistent open fontanelles often live normal, healthy lives.
Occasionally, puppies may have undergone umbilical or inguinal hernia repair. These procedures are harmless and do not affect the pet’s health or lifespan.
Heterochromia refers to a condition in which an individual has two eyes with varying colors, either partially or completely. This variation in eye color is due to an unequal distribution of melanin in the iris, either an excessive amount (hyperchromic) or a deficient amount (hypochromic).
Available genetic research and feedback from breeders and dog owners indicate that certain breeds of dogs have an increased likelihood of producing puppies with heterochromia, or eyes of different colors;
| Huskies | Welsh Corgis |
| Shetland Sheepdog | Great Danes |
| Alaskan Malamutes | Dachshunds |
| Dalmatians | Australian Shepherd dogs |
| Border Collies | Catahoula Leopard dogs |
| Beagles | Chihuahuas |
| Shih Tzus |

(For Puppies Purchased After 04-17-2023)
Central Park Puppies wants to inform potential puppy owners that owning a puppy involves regular veterinary visits, and the costs of these visits are the responsibility of the owner.
Central Park Puppies make every effort to ensure that puppies are healthy upon arrival, but as they are living creatures, health issues may arise.
We provide a 3-year health guarantee that can be extended to 10 years for a one-time fee of $250. Bulldogs are excluded from coverage beyond the first year.
The term ‘Veterinarian’ refers to a licensed medical professional for animals as recognized by the state licensing authority.
The term ‘infectious period’ in this Agreement refers to the first fourteen days (14) after the puppy has been purchased by the purchaser and transferred to the customer’s home.
The ‘Purchase Price’ referred to in this agreement pertains only to the cost of the puppy from Central Park Puppies and does not include additional expenses such as taxes, shipping fees, health certificate costs, veterinarian expenses, shipping crates, or any other costs incurred by the buyer.
Before a puppy is sent to its new home, it undergoes a thorough veterinary examination, and the breeder follows our vaccination and deworming guidelines.
This guarantee applies to any health issues that may arise after the puppy arrives.
This guarantee is only valid for puppies that have been delivered and have continuously resided in the United States and Canada.
This guarantee does not cover:
Please note that hypoglycemia is not covered by our Health Guarantee as it is not a hereditary or congenital condition, and it is ultimately the responsibility of the puppy’s owner to ensure they are eating properly. (Please refer to the hypoglycemia video link in your Welcome Email)
Low blood sugar is a common issue for small breed puppies, especially those weighing 5 lbs. or less. Symptoms include low energy, loss of appetite, sluggishness, abnormal body temperature, and vomiting or diarrhea.
To prevent hypoglycemia, it is important to establish a proper and monitored feeding schedule for the puppy, especially during the first two weeks in their new home.
It may also be helpful to use KARO SYRUP or processed honey to temporarily boost the puppy’s energy and encourage them to eat.
The customer must have made every effort to prevent the death of a puppy by seeking medical care. In case of an emergency, seek assistance by texting or calling the emergency number provided in the welcome email. If you do not receive a response, please leave a voicemail and contact your nearest emergency vet. We recommend the Veterinary Emergency Group for emergency visits. Disclaimer: We are not affiliated with Veterinary Emergency Group hospitals.
In order to be eligible for our Health Guarantee, certain obligations must be met. These include:
Failure to meet these obligations will result in the termination of this Health Guarantee.
If you have met the conditions outlined in this Health Guarantee and your puppy is experiencing a health issue that you believe may be covered under this guarantee, it is important that you contact Central Park Puppies immediately. You can do this by emailing help@centralpups.com or calling (888) 670-4355.

Our coverage surpasses what other providers offer and exceeds national averages. If you choose to go to a veterinarian whose fees are higher than our coverage limits, any additional costs will be your responsibility. It’s essential to do your due diligence when selecting a veterinarian, as practices vary, and it’s your responsibility as a pet parent to inquire about pricing to ensure it falls within our coverage limits. If you do not, you will be liable for any excess charges.
To avoid overcharges, we recommend discussing coverage limits with your veterinarian, getting a second opinion from another veterinarian, or contacting us for a free consultation with our veterinarians. Inform your veterinarian of our coverage limits and request that treatments provided are sufficient to effectively address the issue, including appropriate dosing and duration of medication. Please note that elective surgeries and treatments are not covered; only treatments recommended by the veterinarian, in accordance with their written schedule, are eligible for coverage.
Our Health Guarantee is only valid for the original buyer of the puppy from Central Park Puppies and cannot be transferred to any subsequent owners.
This Health Guarantee provides specific legal rights to the original purchaser of the puppy from Central Park Puppies, and they may also have additional rights that vary depending on the state they reside in.
Any disputes related to this Health Guarantee will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
If you are eligible for a credit and choose not to use it, Central Park Puppies will not be held responsible for any further claims and you will have forfeited your right to pursue any further legal action against Central Park Puppies.
The purchaser and Central park puppies acknowledge that this Agreement is reasonable, valid, and enforceable. However, if any term, covenant, condition, or provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, it is the parties’ intent that such provision be modified in scope by the court only to the extent deemed necessary by that court to render the provision reasonable and enforceable. Furthermore, the remainder of the provisions of this Agreement will in no way be affected, impaired, or invalidated as a result.
Please Read This Section Carefully as It Affects Your Rights
The parties agree that any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of, or relating to this Agreement or any subsequent amendments of this Agreement, including without limitation, any dispute concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, enforceability or breach of this Agreement, shall be exclusively resolved by binding arbitration. This arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules in effect at the time the arbitration is initiated. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator who is licensed to practice law.
The location of the arbitration shall be in Suffolk County, New York, unless both parties agree in writing to a different location. The Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”) shall govern the arbitrability of all disputes under this agreement.
This arbitration agreement does not allow class arbitrations even if the procedures or rules of the AAA might. Instead, you and Central Park Puppies agree that all disputes between you and Central Park Puppies will be arbitrated on an individual basis. You and Central Park Puppies hereby waive any right to commence or participate in any class action lawsuit against one another. Further, unless both you and Central Park Puppies expressly agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of representative or collective proceeding.
Each party is responsible for its own costs relating to counsel, experts, and witnesses, as well as any other costs relating to the arbitration.
This agreement to arbitrate continues to apply even after your relationship with Central Park Puppies has ended. It does not preclude you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state, or local agencies. Such agencies can, if the law allows, seek relief against us on your behalf. You may also bring individual claims in small claims court in Suffolk County, New York.
This arbitration agreement will survive the termination of your relationship with Central Park Puppies. If any provision of this section is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the balance of the arbitration agreement will remain in full force and effect.
